Cryolipolysis

Instead, it utilizes controlled cooling to target and eliminate fat cells, making it a safer and more comfortable option for patients.

 

Additionally, cryolipolysis typically involves minimal to no downtime, allowing patients to resume their normal activities immediately after treatment while the traditional surgery or liposuction often requires a prolonged downtime during which patients may experience discomfort, swelling, and bruising.

Cryolipolysis, often referred to as "fat freezing," is a popular non-invasive procedure for body contouring and fat reduction.

During the treatment, a gel pad is placed on the skin, and the applicator head is positioned and applied to the targeted area. Using vacuum suction, the fat cells are drawn into the applicator head, allowing for precise cooling to be applied.

The controlled cooling selectively targets and breaks down the fat cells by crystallizing them, while leaving surrounding cells and skin unharmed.
